PODCAST 10: "LaFluer"
Believe it or not, this website and has been up for a full year as of today. And to celebrate our one year anniversary, we have a new podcast for you. Booyah.
In this podcast, John and I welcome a special guest. John's brother, David, joins us to talk about "LaFluer," the lastest LOST episode. We also get into some discussions about some scenes from "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham" since we didn't record a podcast for that episode. Enjoy.

Kim texts us her thoughts on "LaFluer"
"Wtf! The statue! Its like the Colossus of Rhodes"
(Don't know what she's talking about? Click here.)
"I bet jules and sawyer get together. Which is GROSS."
----(30 seconds later)----
"Oh god. Kill me now. I just barfed in my mouth. Lost so much respect for him. Its cool she'll get dropped for kate. Just like she did with jack! Muahahaha!"
"Yes!!! Oh my GOD. I'M IN TEARS!"

Upcoming special guest / Changes to the site
We're not going to have a podcast for the last episode, "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham," but we'll DEFINITELY be back after Wednesday's episode, "LaFluer" airs, with a very special guest. We might even have some surprises up our sleeves as well, so stay tuned.
A couple more things - I've made some changes to the podcasts themselves. You'll notice they are no longer shown in the little audio players, but they are now located in crazy-cool video boxes. This will allow us to show pictures while the podcasts are playing. I've changed all the old podcasts to the new format.
The reason for this change is price. To keep the little audio players on the site was $10/month. The new video boxes are free.
Now, there's an upside to this and a downside. The good news is we now have ALL the podcasts we've recorded up and running on the site, even the ones from last season, which were removed during our hiatus between seasons four and five. And because they're free, these podcasts will be on the site until the end of time. The bad news is the podcasts will no longer be available to download as mp3s (sorry..)
Anyway, I hope you guys are still listening, and I look forward to more podcasts in the future.

Kim texts us her thoughts on "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham"
"Who's the good guy? God! I don't know who to trust. Something is off. Widmore knows Daniel and Eloise. Daniel worked for him so why hasn't Eloise told him how to get back?"
"Omg! Walt! Maybe he was in coach?"
"Nooooooooo matthewwwwwwwww. I was actually a fan of creepy black guy."
"I knew he was going to do it! After he told him Jin was alive."

PODCAST 9: "316"
Sorry it took us a while, but we finally put together a short podcast for "316," my personal favorite episode of Season 5 so far.
We run through the episode's highlights quickly and then for some reason talk about Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Enjoy.

No podcast for "This Place Is Death"
Sorry guys I know you want it badly but we're not doing a podcast for the last episode, "This Place is Death." John and I never found the time to get together and do it. But hopefully we'll be back for Wednesday's episode, "316." War Eagle.
Here's a decent recap of "This Place Is Death." Check it out:

PODCAST 7: "Jughead"
For the first time in this podcast's history, we've recorded three episodes in three weeks. We'll see how long we can keep it up.
Anyway, there's lots of LOST discussion in this podcast, and we bring up some good points to debate about. We cover "Jughead" from top to bottom, so leave us some feedback and vote in the new poll. Hope you enjoy it.

Kim texts us her thoughts on "Jughead"

"OK I loved the baby to begin with but now that he's called CHARLIE!?! Tears."

"Oh my friggin GOD! Ellie (chick with the gun) is Daniel's MOM. Ms. Eloise Hawking! Um. Ellie = Eloise. And he said "u just...look so much like her." and "u know why u won't shoot me? (pause)" he knew she wasn't going to shoot him b/c he would be born."
(find more evidence supporting this theory here.)

"This ep was kind of a let down. Felt like a filler. Cept for the Widmore thing. That must mean he's like 70+ years old."

Hopefully this will be a weekly feature of the site.

"Daniel's mom is the psychic lady!"

"My dad said in the last time jump the men that attacked Sawyer and Jules had World War II-era army uniforms and guns. So they jumped far the fuck back. Before Dharma was even there! The guy in the mental hospital that Hurley played games with was based on an island when he was in the service. Hurley went to Australia to see the guy's partner! His wife said that they manned a communications center so maybe those army dudes are Hurley's friend and partner."

"I want them to jump back to see Charlotte as a baby!"

"Hmmmmm! Maybe Miles is the video scientist's son!? If Miles was born on the island that would explain his super natural abilities. Remember when he told Charlotte that he knew she was there to see the place she was born? He could be there for the same reason."

WTF

I think I speak for most Lost fans when I say last night's double-episode premiere did not disappoint. The time-traveling on the island did get a bit confusing, and without a doubt deserves an additional viewing. John and I hope to crank out another podcast over the weekend though, so stay tuned. There's lots to talk about.
Also, you guys might already know about this, but there's a fun bracket-type thing going on at abc.com to determine the "Ultimate Lost Moment" of the past four seasons. Vote here: LOST Showdown
And here's a preview for next week's episode, entitled "Jughead."

Ohhhhh shit...
I know you guys have been checking this Web site tirelessly since June and you are finally being rewarded. We're recording a podcast tonight. That's right. Esta noche. I don't know any other languages so I'm just going to stop typing. But get excited. Like a pervert at a Hannah Montana concert.

Hiatus
Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I have temporarily deleted the podcasts from the Web site, mainly because I don't want to pay $10 a month for them when the show's not even on the air. We'll be back in January when Season 5 rolls around. And who knows, we might even record a podcast during the break.
Anyway, thanks to everyone who hit that play button during the last few months. It's a lot of fun doing this and I hope you've enjoyed it as much as we have.

PODCAST 3: 38 minutes of audible pleasure
Believe it or not, we finally got back to recording. Here's episode 3 of Get Your Beer On Get Your Lost On. We discuss the latest LOST episode, "Something Nice Back Home," and other shenanigans. Hope you enjoy it. If you do, make sure to let us know.

Well, we were gonna start recording, but then...
Sunday, March 30, 2008
To our thousands of listeners...
Hey guys I just wanted to send out a little update. We haven't done the podcast for the latest LOST episode "Meet Kevin Johnson" because, well, we just haven't had time with spring break and other shenanigans. So we're hoping to get back in the "studio" and record our third podcast sometime this week, so don't touch that dial... or keyboard... I don't know.
But we'll have plenty to talk about and it'll give us something to do during this five-week LOST break we're dealing with before the next episode airs. It's called "The Shape of Things to Come," (it shares its name with a book written by H.G. Wells.) and it airs April 24 at a new time - 9 p.m. CST.
